Enable Interactive's Content Management System
is an end-to-end electronic publishing tool that
will empower your portal to manage multiple Web
pages efficiently, enabling users to access specific
content on demand, saving precious resources,
and increasing customer satisfaction besides easing
up processes on creation and maintenance of these
pages.
We offer five components to the content management
system:
Template Management
The basic framework of the page is defined here.
This involves creating a publishing template for
each page or set of pages.
The template indicates the layout and structure
of the page where actual content, images, cross-references,
tickers, plain text etc. are to be placed.
The design of the page being a critical issue,
once the look and feel of the cover pages is finalised,
a template approach along with its subsequent
sub-pages is adopted across multiple channels.
An administration tool even allows the content
team to maintain and modify these templates with
proper authorisations and minimal efforts.
Content Editing
One
of the most complex tasks in content rich sites
is writing content in a manner that is easy to
access and can be indexed and cross linked to
relevant references.
The content admin module gives editors easy access
to locating and linking content across articles
in the archives or created by other writers or
even appearing as feeds.
Inserting hyperlinks to other articles, links
to related fields in pages, numbering and storing
graphics, and managing attributes of articles,
such as concurrency, keywords, age, etc. are also
managed.
It provides a complete environment that brings
the power of web information creation, sharing,
and publishing down to the average end- user while
at the same time addressing the most important
requirements of the IT department, Webmasters,
and business management to provide a secure, fast,
and effective information portal.
Archiving
The
archiving module keeps track of article archives,
provides a single consistent way for the archive
manager to edit, delete or push onto slow storage
articles in the archive database.
It also allows the editors to create lists and
search older publications on the basis of keywords
and author name, date and other such parameters.
Publishing of the archived material and arrangement
of the same in a given template can also be initiated.
